This tee pays homage to the ancient legend which tells of a carp that becomes a golden dragon after swimming up a waterfall.  In Japanese culture, the carp is synonymous with strength of character and dedication.  In May, Children’s Day is celebrated with Koinobori carp streamers.  Koi No Takinobori means simply “carp ascending a waterfall” and means “to succeed vigorously in life”.
